![]() Players: 1-4 Competitive (Local Split-Screen), 2-8 Competitive (Online) Just get Grid if you want a solid racing game. All in all think it's an ok game, but for those wanting to progress as quickly as they can and get more vehicles by climbing leaderboards, winning online races, etc, i can see it to be an extremely frustrating experience. I haven't been able to try the split screen mode yet but i hope it's fun. It's very laggy at times, not to where my car teleports but the other way around. This may be only my problem, i'm not sure, but i often fail to score a take down on another player because of lag. If you want to play this game competitively, only play the time trial events that come up, those are fun. I get paired with vehicles nearly twice my power, and get destroyed, and lose some of my rating because of it. It's simple, pair players that have a similar car ranking and that are in the same tier. Post race screens, pick a new course, wait for things to animate, loading, viewing card packs, upgrading, digging through the store. I spend just as much out of game as there is in it. Post race screens, pick a new course, wait for things to animate, loading, viewing card packs, I really enjoy the graphics and the gameplay silliness of full spin whacking other cars and boosts, but it's a struggle to get into the game when these courses are so short, because it's designed to get you back to the micro transaction store. The wanted mission are the worst aspect of the game. = The fun of this game really is just the addictive collecting, the races them self are pretty horrible. The game is completely broken in online racers. This game has by far the worse rubber banding ever. Noticing a pattern? - Police have never been more irritating in a game. ![]() Frame rate goes really low at times, mostly on wanted missions. End of wanted missions, it messes with your camera right before you need to aim for a ramp. + You can get away with not spending anything, if you choose.
